Week 24

Yesterday I started my 24th week of pregnancy.  Here is the comparison for this month.  First my 24th week with Preston.
And, my 24th week this time around.  I feel like I've gotten huge in just the past week!

Preston's 18 Months Old!

Teeth Count: He has fourteen, but is working on his last four molars.

What he’s wearing: 18-24 mos. tops and bottoms and size 6 1/2 shoes.

How he’s sleeping: Around 12 hours at night and a 3 hour nap during the day from 1:00-4:00. Of course now he's getting his molars so he's been waking up some nights and just staying up for a while in his crib. He's a crazy kid.

New accomplishments in the last month: Talking like crazy! Preston loves to point at everything asking "this?" and I have to tell him what it is, then he tries to copy what I'm saying.

Learning the number 2. He is always picking two things up and proclaiming "do" because he's proud that he knows how many he has. He will also count if I ask him what comes after one.

He has become obsessed with trains and tractors. He says "choo choo" anytime he sees a tv because he's discovered Thomas the Tank Engine. He says "tac-tor" every time we pass construction sights and constantly says "more tac-tor," "do tac-tors," and "bye-bye tac-tors."

He points to mommy, daddy, Preston, and doggie, and names us over and over again.

He plays with the doggie and is constantly putting the dogs toys in his water bowl.

He knows most of his body parts including head, hair, eyes, ears, nose, lips, teeth, tongue, arms, elbows, hands, fingers, legs, feet, toes, and belly button. He also points to himself and says "body." He knows what his clothes are called too.

He loves brushing his teeth.

He likes helping unload the dishwasher.

Drinking out of mommy's cup.

Eating all by himself with a fork and spoon.

He loves to read the scriptures and learn about Jesus.

He constantly reminds me to say the prayer by folding his arms when I put him in his booster seat.
Opening the pantry and asking for a snack, "na, na!"
Saying "p pease" when he wants something.

It really is amazing how much he learns every month, I love watching him learn new things and understand more about the world around him!

20 Weeks and Counting

Today I am 20 weeks pregnant with boy #2.  Here's a comparison of my belly from both pregnancies.  Here I am at 20 weeks with Preston, our camera was dying which is why it has a pink tint to it.
Here I'm 20 weeks with this pregnancy.  I definately feel bigger than last time.  We'll see how much I keep growing. :)
