After we pass the port-a-potty we get to the field...
where I try to get Preston to sit on the bench with me to cheer daddy on...
to make sure he hits the ball far.
Once he's hit the ball and run fast around the bases daddy comes to get Preston...
and lets him play with his hat...
which is his absolute
favorite
part
about the ball game...
besides the rocks he hoards ...
when Daddy's in the outfield.
He LOVES the softball games!

Enjoy it now while he can't walk! I went to one of Todd's games a few weeks ago and Austin only wanted to be IN the outfield with the bats and balls. I ended up spending the whole time at the park next door instead of watching the game just to avoid tantrums.
ReplyDeletePreston is so cute in that ball cap!
So this has nothing to do with your post, but i had a random dream last night that you were missing for like 2 weeks, and then all of the sudden you realized that you were missing and then you decided to come back... weird... But don't worry- you weren't lost for long! You came back. Anyways, are you coming to the reunion in July? I hope? Please?
ReplyDeleteStacey, I know how you feel, Preston is constantly trying to go to the dugout and play with the bats and balls. It's funny because the other players just look around and don't really know what to do about him.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you just watched him put those rocks in his mouth . . . that's disgusting! :)
ReplyDeleteI guess rocks aren't that tasty after all.
