One morning last week I woke up before Preston which NEVER happens, so I went downstairs to check my email and eat breakfast. When I was just starting my bowl of cereal I heard him wake up and start to play in his crib so I decided to go get him as soon as I was done. When I finally did make it to his room, this is what I found. He thinks he's so funny! 
He was clapping it together between his fingers, 
smushing it into his sheet, 
and laughing like crazy! 
He gave me that sweet "I didn't do anything, I swear!" face. 
Then he would admire his artwork
and say "poo poos" over and over again.
After that he smeared it all over the rails while he was trying to climb out. 
I'm not sure how some of it got on his mouth... 
mmm... yummy! 
I finally figured out the source of the problem when I took his shirt off.
Then I decided a bath would be the best way to clean it all up and Preston had the time of his life as always. 
An overhead view of the damage that was done. The really sad thing is that his pony got some in its hair, but I decided to just give it a bath too, so luckily it's as good as new now. :)

Wow that is yucky! Good job being a good sport and even taking pictures before cleaning him up. How funny. Congrats on your new car too. Looks nice! :-)
ReplyDeleteNasty! Don't you just love some of the messes us moms get to deal with? Poop almost doesn't even phase me anymore...almost. :) Just breathe through you mouth not your nose, right? :)

ReplyDeleteOk, that's really gross! Cute, but gross! It's amazing how those two words fit together so much with kids! Anyway, guess what... we're coming tomorrow!! We're leaving at night after I get off work so Brooklyn will sleep most of the time, so we should be in Thursday morning some time. We want to get everyone together for a party or something. What day would be good for you guys? I'll try and give you a call once we're in town.

I finally have been blessed with a day at work where there isn't anything to do...my supervisor is out of town and I've already done everything she gave me to do while she's gone. So, I've been sitting today and reading your entire blog! It's great. I especially enjoy the videos. It makes me wish we had something to make a blog about...we most definitely will make one once we get pregnant/have a baby, as there isn't anything too exciting to write about just yet. (And that hopefully might be very soon, if you get my drift...) Then we could be cute bloggers like you! We miss you guys and can't wait to see you in like only two weeks!!!
