Carter was born on June 7, 2009 at 6:18 p.m... 18:18 p.m. military time. After a full meal (he couldn't wait!) he weighed in at 7 lbs. 6 oz. and is 20.25 inches long. We are so excited to finally have him here!
This picture was taken right after the delivery when they put him up on my chest. He was still getting the goo wiped off of him. :)
Soon after daddy got to hold him for a little while. He's such a proud father!
Luckily for us Carter was born right before Preston's bedtime so our friends who were watching him were nice enough to bring him over to meet his new brother. Our first family picture was taken about an hour after delivery. There are cuter ones of the boys to come later.
I just had to include this one. I couldn't help myself, I love when little babies cry!
I just wanted to post a few pictures for everyone to see, especially Grandma's and Grandpa's who live far away. There will be lots more details to come whether you like it or not. :)

ReplyDeleteThat's great you didn't tear. In prenatal massage they taught us the massage to keep that from happening. LOL. And funny about Gabe getting blood on him. Congrats again!
