Coming Home

The first thing Preston did when we got home from the hospital was show Carter all of his toys. He was so excited to have someone to play with! He kept saying "baby Carter play legos now?" In this picture he's showing Carter his new book Grandma gave him.
Carter gave Preston a basketball hoop when he got home from the hospital. Of course Preston thinks it's the coolest thing ever which makes him love his little brother even more. :) It's been good keeping him busy too, which is always nice.
I told Preston to look at how little Carter's fingers are. Now he keeps going up and gently holding his hand. I think it's the cutest thing ever!
He's constantly giving Carter hugs and kisses too!
Here's Carter's cute outfit my grandma gave him with my mom's help. :)
He wasn't exactly happy about me taking his picture. :)
We've had a few visitors too. Here he is with my friend Sam.
Preston is constantly asking if he can "lie down with baby Carter too?". It doesn't ever last long, but is adorable while it does last!
Here's Carter doing some tummy time.
Our friends Holly and Matt came over to meet Carter too.
Their adorable little boy Sam is 6 weeks older, we're hoping they'll be best friends.
While the girls chatted Gabe and Matt hung out with their boys...
Except Gabe claims he doesn't like Bentley... Look how cute they are. Poor Bentley has been neglected the past few days.
Yesterday my friend Britni was nice enough to bring us a very yummy dinner, so Carter got to meet her too.
And of course her cute girls. Here he is with Dalia, one of Preston's "girlfriends."
Tesila wasn't exactly sure what to think of his screaming. :)
Since he was unhappy I decided to try out his bouncy seat after that and he LOVED it!
Preston never liked it much, but I think we may have to invest in something a little nicer for this little guy.
We're so grateful to have this little boy in our lives and that he was able to get here safe and healthy. Thanks to everyone who has been supporting us this entire time, and of course for all the gifts we recieved. We are truly blessed!

  1. those pics of the two boys together are so cute! I hope Joshua likes the new baby that much and doesn't hurt him!
You're lucky to have so many people coming to visit, though I'm sure its tiring!

  2. Wow, what cute pictures! I'm so happy for you guys. By the way, I think I know your friend Britni. Did she go to BYU-Idaho? Did she know a guy named Matt Fischer? Random, I know, but I just thought I'd check.
