Preston and I haven't gone anywhere all week thanks to a horrible cold he came down with Monday morning. Yep, that's right, I couldn't even go to the gym because we're not supposed to take sick kids into the daycare. And lets face it, I had to wipe his green snotty nose every minute or so to keep it from dripping into his mouth... or down to his chin (gross, I know, but very true). Then this morning he started drooling like a big dog too, his shirt was completely soaked. It's weird but he has never ever drooled. I'm not sure if it's from him breathing out of his mouth because his nose is stuffed, or if he's finally getting his bottom two eye teeth.
Check out the incriminating drool here. Look closely, you'll see some hanging out of the corning of his mouth as well as a wet spot on his pajama top. Just click on the picture to make it bigger
Luckily he's pretty much acted like himself this week despite the gross nose. He'll even blow into the kleenex for me when I ask him to. Today I even caught his trying it out on his own. Anyway, the worst part about this week is that he's been cooped up in the house. So today I gave in and let him play during the sun, after the rain, before the sunny rain. Does that make any sense at all? Oh well, it does to me.
So, he was out there throwing rocks as usual.
If you look closely in these pictures you can see the lovely snot on his face that I was too busy taking pictures of to wipe off right away.
He really did not want to go back inside either. But it was lunchtime and then naptime, so what's a mom to do?
Oh well, I hope Preston gets better soon, for both of our benefits. I really want to go to Yoga and playgroup tomorrow. Plus his nasty cough breaks my heart. I guess we'll have to see what happens.

Awe, poor Preston. His eyes are so blue in that picture! Hope he feels better soon.
